Christian Preaching That Devalues Scripture

Chapter 2

God planned every step of creation

Genesis 1:1 summarizes God’s creative effort as “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Creation was completed in six days after which God evaluated all His creative effort in Genesis 1:31 as “behold, it was very good” simply because everything was created exactly as God intended. So “God rested on the seventh day.”

Bible scholars “lean unto their own wisdom deficient understandings” to manufacture conflicted opinions about the reason why God created anything. But those opinions always conflict with the opinions of rival Bible scholars. Following is an exposition of the inspired account of what God literally created. The Genesis account was inspired by a sovereign God when He omnisciently and immutably created everything ex nihilo (i.e., “out of nothing”). True exposition is always “Trusting the LORD with all your heart.” True exposition is never a conflicted “understanding.”

Day 1 – Genesis 1:1-5

The initiation of God’s creative plan

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without

form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God

moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, let there be light: and there was

light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the

darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the

evening and the morning were the first day.

God initialized Creation to be “without form, and void.” Tangible things are never “without form, and void” and yet in Genesis 1:4 God saw that everything “was good” because being “without form, and void” was exactly what God planned.

These verses are a summary rather than a detail description as indicated by vague and imprecise Hebrew words. For example, “the first day” of God’s Creation is vague and imprecisely delimited by “evening and morning” even though the Earth, Sun, and Moon do not yet exist.

Some wisdom deficient Bible scholars “understand” this to imply a prior existence of “the earth.” That “understanding” is often referred to as the so-called “Gap Theory.” Search the web for “Gap Theory” if you are curious about the term. However, the English word “created” was translated from the Hebrew word “‫”בָּ ָּרא‬, Strong’s H1254 defined as “a primitive root; (absolute) to create; (qualified) to cut down (a wood), select, feed (as formative processes) :- choose, create (creator), cut down, dispatch, do, make (fat).” Strong’s Concordance seems to teach that H1254 “absolutely” describes the creation of something that had no prior existence.

These verses also vaguely and imprecisely summarize that “the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters” before “water” or anything else had been created. The reality is that all creation “was without form, and void” prior to “the Spirit of God moving upon the face of the waters.” Thus, the insertion of “light” into a completely “void” container is vague and imprecise just as we may expect from a mere summary.

The English word “water” was translated from the Hebrew word “‫( ”מַ יִם‬Strong's H4325) defined as “dual of a primitive noun (but used in a singular sense); water; figurative juice; by euphemism urine, semen :- + piss, wasting, water (-ing, [-course, -flood, -spring]).” H4325 normally describes H2O. In that regard, verse six will subsequently describe the division between “the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament.” The “waters” in v6 seem to be literal H2O.

This translation conundrum regarding “water” suggests the Genesis 1:1-5 summarization uses Strong's H4325 to emphasize “the completely void nature of the time-and-space container created in Day 1” by euphemistically comparing “the face of the deep” with raw sewage (i.e., “urine, semen, piss, wasting”). Accordingly, this euphemistic usage of “‫ ”מַ יִם‬emphasizes that being “without form, and void” suggests a Creation having the same value as raw sewage. It is extremely difficult to “understand” but a God who simply speaks and it instantly happens describes God’s Creation as being initialized with a dimension of “time-and-space” that was completely “without form, and void” even though “the Spirit of God” acted on it sequentially consistent with the “cause-and-effect” intrinsic to “time-and-space.”

Another indication these verses are merely a summarization is that at least three levels of “heaven” are known to exist. The English word “heaven” in Genesis 1:1 was translated from the Hebrew word “‫( ”שָּ מַ יִם‬Strong’s H8064) “alluding to the visible arch in which the clouds move, as well as to the higher ether where the celestial bodies revolve.” However, it is intuitive that God did not create the “heaven” where God has eternal residency.

Many who translate the Hebrew word “‫ ”שָּ מַ יִם‬into English treat it as a plural noun simply because Strong’s H8064 describes both “the visible arch in which the clouds move as well as the higher ether where all the celestial bodies revolve.” However, neither of those meanings describes “the third heaven” where God eternally resided with the principalities and powers before “the earth” existed. English translators describe the place where God resides as “the third heaven” based on the 2Corinthians 12:2 translation of the Greek noun “τρίτος” (Strong's G5154) “order from <G5140> (treis); third; neuter (as noun) a third part, or (as adverb) a (or the) third time, thirdly :- third (-ly).” The environmental dimension of “The third heaven” has never been described to created humans but that environment is not restricted by either “cause-and-effect” or by “time-and-space.”

And the Ephesians 3:10 Greek adjective “ἐπουράνιος” (Strong's G2032) is translated into English as “heavenly places” or “the heavenlies” to qualify “the third heaven” where God resides eternally. Strong's definition of G2032 is “from <G1909> (epi) and <G3772> (ouranos); above the sky :- celestial, (in) heaven (-ly), high.” Thus, translators of God’s inspired Words recognize at least three distinct places called “heaven”, but the English language makes no distinction between those three.

The other English term in these verses describing God’s creation is “the earth” which is translated from the Hebrew word “‫”רץ‬ ֶ (Strong’s H776) “from an unused root probably meaning to be firm; the earth (at large, or partitively a land) :- × common, country, earth, field, ground, land, × nations, way, + wilderness, world.”

It is critically important to notice that verse 1:2 focuses on “the earth” simply because “the earth” is where God’s Purpose-For-Creation will be accomplished rather than being accomplished within either the Universe (i.e., the sky above “the firmament”) or accomplished within “the third heaven” where God resides eternally.

The English word “earth” refers to the entire ball-of-matter where all humans will eventually reside after God’s creative effort is complete. But the summary usage of H776 in Genisis 1-5 makes no attempt to identify the source for the matter God used to insert an “earth” into “the void container.”

Some wisdom deficient Bible scholars assume matter is eternal even though there is no Scriptural basis for “leaning unto that understanding.” However, I suggest that an omnipotent God’s infinite energy is the source for all the matter that fills “the void time-and-space container” with “the earth” as well as with the stars and galaxies and everything else that exists within the Universe.

“The earth” will eventually be created within the “empty and void container” but the English clause “darkness was upon the face of the deep” suggests the “void container” was initialized to be “completely void” of even the spectrum of electromagnetic energy that will allow human eyes to sense illumination.

This is critical information because the English word “darkness” in Genesis 1:2 was translated from Hebrew “‫( ”חשֶ ך‬Strong’s H2822) “the dark; hence (literal) darkness; figurative misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness,- dark (-ness), night, obscurity.” The English word “darkness” is normally used to describe a partial absence of the visible spectrum of electromagnetic energy. However, the term “darkness” in verse 2 seems to describe the contents of an empty container that is completely “void” of everything including the entire spectrum of electromagnetic energy until “the Spirit of God moved upon the wasted face of raw sewage.” Thus, the English word “darkness” in verse 2 describe a condition which is much more descriptive than the mere absence of illumination. “Darkness” in verse 2 describes the contents of an empty container that is completely “void” of everything including all forms of energy.

The English word “upon” or “over” in verse 2 was translated from the Hebrew word “‫ ”עַל‬Strong’s H5921. That Hebrew word qualifies the empty container as having a dimension of time-and-space. This is critical because the English term “moved upon” absolutely requires the length, width, and depth that is intrinsic to time- and-space. Nevertheless, the container was “completely void.”

The implications of a “completely void” container of time-and-space tends to be ignored by wisdom deficient Bible scholars simply because they assume they were created to have freedom of “movement upon the earth.” Educated Bible scholars display wisdom deficiency whenever volitional free will is discussed.

However, a creation that requires the sequential cause-and-effect which is intrinsic within time-and-space is critical to God’s Purpose-For-Creation simply because every event in “the third Heaven” where God resides eternally is always instantaneous and simultaneous without any dependence on the cause-and-effect of time-and-space.

It is difficult for mere humans to “understand” but both the beginning and ending of Creation has already been observed by all who reside in the heavenlies including “the seraphim” of Isaiah 6:2ff.

Every historic event as well as all future events including the scheduled destruction of the Universe has already been observed “in the heavenlies” exactly as God planned. In other words, everything was “predestined” by a sovereign Creator named God. Absolutely nothing is controlled by volitional free will.

The cause-and-effect that is intrinsic to time-and-space does not exist in “The third Heaven” where God resides. For example, “be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” (2Pet 3:8). In other words, “The third Heaven” where God resides is always today. It is never yesterday or tomorrow in “The third Heaven.”

Humans (i.e., me and you) are restricted to a sequential time-and-space. Humans cannot conceive a dimension that allows simultaneous existence anywhere and everywhere. But “the third Heaven” does not have those restrictions. Consequently, a temporary and disposable environment having those restrictions had to be created to accomplish God’s Purpose-For-Creation. The existence of time- and-space is required by every philosophical and scientific statement about motion. In fact, everything in the created universe moves predictably with respect to everything else in the created universe. For example, space travel requires knowing the cause-and-effect of time-and-space by depending on the formula F=M A as described in Newton’s Laws of Motion. Ephesians 1:3 describes this phenomenon as a “mystery” which cannot be “understood” by wisdom deficient humans who have been created to live and die on the surface of a time-and-space earth having the dimensions of length, width, and depth.

Travel on the earth as well as space travel would be impossible if time-and-space was instantaneous and simultaneous rather than controlled by cause-and-effect. Theological assumptions about the existence of Free-Will-decision-making are based on assumptions that “born of the flesh” humans can make Spiritual decisions. But “born of the flesh” humans who have no Spiritual existence before being “born again of the Spirit” are incapable of believing Spiritual Truth. In particular, “born of the flesh” humans cannot be persuaded to “believeth in Him” (John 3:16) before they have been “born again of the Spirit.” “The determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God” (Acts 2:23) caused the name of each “born of the flesh” human who has been “called and elect for salvation” to be listed in “the Lamb’s book of life before the foundation of the world” (Rev 13:8). It is wisdom deficient to think that a sovereign and omniscient God who omnipotently created everything would allow mere “born of the flesh” humans who are each “appointed once to die, but after this the judgment” (Heb 8:27) to volitionally make decisions about who can and who cannot reside in Heaven with a sovereign God.

The dimension of time-and-space is so embedded in the human psyche that “born of the flesh” humans tend to ignore the dimension controlling every event in “The Third Heaven” where God resides. Humans seem incapable of “understanding” that God eternally exists everywhere and everyplace. The only viable alternative to wisdom deficiency is to “let the LORD direct thy path” (Prov 3:6). But wisdom deficient Bible school trained Biblical scholars prevent that from happening.

With respect to the insertion of “light” into a completely “void” container, the English word “light” in Genesis 1:3 was translated from the Hebrew word “‫”אֹור‬ (Strong’s H216) “from <H215> ('owr); illumination or (concrete) luminary (in every sense, including lightning, happiness, etc.) :- bright, clear, + day, light (-ning), morning, sun.” English usage of the word “light” normally describes a literal existence simply because “light” is measurable. The intensity of “light” is measured using “Lumens” as the measurement scale. By contrast, “darkness” cannot be measured simply because “darkness” does not exist. Thus, “God calling the light Day, and the darkness Night” is merely a summary statement of the way God intends “the earth” to be observed by human eyes which will not exist until day 6.

The English word “light” typically describes the spectrum of electromagnetic energy that is visible to human eyes. But the word “light” in verse 1:3 seems to include ultraviolet light, infrared light, x-rays, and radio frequencies which are also spectrums of electromagnetic energy. Thus, it is intuitive that this initial summarization of God’s creation suggests something which is much more significant than mere illumination.

Wisdom deficient secular scientists insist on speculating about the source of matter. By contrast, I suggest the supernatural electromagnetic energy of an omnipotent Creator God is the source for all matter in The Created Universe.

The English word “Science” assumes observations can be repeated and measured. But humans cannot repeat God’s creation. Thus, human theories (e.g., evolution, the age of the earth, etc.) can never be “scientific” simply because creation cannot be repeated. That’s the reality of Paul’s 1Timothy 6:20 command about “Science falsely so called.” My prayer is that “science falsely so called” does not describe my own speculation reported in this book.

However, Einstein’s formula E=M C2 or E/M=C2 can be repeatably observed creating matter. Search the web for “creation of matter by E=M C2” if you are not familiar with that process. I suggest God’s command “let there be light” is the linguistic basis for the scientific (i.e., repeatable) creation of all matter that exists in the Universe.

I suggest the word “Light” in these Genesis verses refers to the full spectrum of God’s omnipotent electromagnetic energy thus providing the initial value of E in Einstein’s ratio formula E/M=C2. The initial values of both M and C are zero simply because uncooled electron motion is always at the maximum Kelvin temperature.

However, the speed of electron motion decreases as the zero Kelvin temperature of a “void” container is warmed by the maximum Kelvin temperature of God’s infinite energy. As the Kelvin temperature decreases the value of M increases thus eventually producing every atomic element in the Periodic Table.

The variable C in Einstein’s formula is treated as a constant representing the speed of all electromagnetic energy transmissions such as the speed of visible “Light” as well as the speed of invisible radio waves, x-rays, etc. Every decrease in Kelvin temperature increases the value of both C and M until both values approach the stability observed by modern scientists. I suggest that each atomic element in the Periodic Table was created this way. I also observe that cooled atomic elements naturally combine to form molecules. And molecules naturally combine to become the matter within God’s initially “void” time- and-space container which will eventually be identified as “The Universe” by English speaking people.

God’s energy is infinite thus the production of matter is also infinite. However, the Universe was initialized by God to have no size limit. As the Kelvin temperature continues to cool, the black holes in space continue to be filled with newly created matter and the Universe continues expanding.

That is exactly what scientists observe happening today.

My appeal to Einstein’s formula is not intended to imply the validity of my own speculation but rather to suggest a scientifically repeatable process that literally creates matter.

Admittedly, my wisdom deficient appeal to E/M=C2 answers many questions but it probably leaves many other questions unanswered. Nevertheless, I propose this scientifically repeatable argument to refute all the wisdom deficient scholarly assumptions about creation which have resulted in the pervasiveness of Christian preaching that devalues Scripture.

In that regard, I have literally heard wisdom deficient Bible school trained Christian “pastor teachers” state that inspired texts of Scripture are ambiguous and must be clarified (i.e., interpreted) by theologically trained Bible scholars before an omnipotent and omniscient God’s inspired text can be believed and obeyed.

However, if an omnipotent God has the capability to create matter, and if God’s inspired Words scientifically describe the process of creation, then wisdom deficient Theologians foolishly “think of themself more highly than they ought to think” (Rom 12:3). Every human who was created to be wisdom deficient ought to be extremely cautious about critiquing that which an omnipotent and omniscient sovereign God immutably inspired to be written.

Literary critique by wisdom deficient Bible scholars always results in conflicted versions of Christian preaching that devalues Scripture. Yet an omniscient God declares in Genesis 1:31 that wisdom deficient theological conflict is “very good” because God’s Purpose-For-Creation is accomplished by theological conflict.

Despite pervasive conflict between wisdom deficient Bible scholars, our time- and-space Universe continues to expand as the Kelvin temperature of God’s infinite energy continues to cool. A continual cooling of the Universe continues to produce the matter which continues to fill the black holes which continues to expand the size of the Universe. That could explain the reason why our Universe continues to expand. The intriguing comment about “Peleg” in Genesis 10:25 suggests both the Universe and our Earth are much larger now than they were in Genesis 1:1.

The following parenthetic reports that Einstein’s “Theory of Relativity” also predicts that Time is proportional to the Speed of mass. Begin parenthetic about Kelvin temperature WRT time

Space travel at speeds great enough to escape the force of gravitation

demonstrate atomic clocks running faster than atomic clocks that remain on

the surface of the Earth.

That phenomenon suggests a 24-hour day during the initialization of creation

had a much shorter duration than it has today.

Thus, a cooling Kelvin temperature potentially explains the appearance of a

decreasing life span until the Biblical standard of “threescore years and ten; and

if by reason of strength they be fourscore years” (Ps 90:10).

However, that discussion is beyond the scope of this book. End parenthetic about Kelvin temperature WRT time

Isaiah 6:2ff describes Isaiah’s vision of “Seraphim” praising God for His Holiness. But “Seraphim” praising God for Holiness is like humans praising God for the availability of breathable air. Humans never praise God for providing breathable air simply because breathable air tends to be unlimited and free of cost on the surface of “the earth” where temporary and disposable humans normally reside.

If we understand “the third heaven” correctly, God’s Holiness was un-worshipped and un-praised prior to “the foundation of the World.” God’s Holiness has always been an unlimited and free commodity in “the third Heaven” so if “Seraphim” are to intelligently worship God’s Holiness, then God must create an environment where the Holiness of God is extremely limited and extremely costly.

In that regard, God’s inspired literature in Ephesians 3:10 reports that creation was “To the intent that, now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known, by the church, the manifold wisdom of God.” The English phrase “To the intent that” identifies Ephesians 3:10 as a Purpose Statement. Thus, Ephesians 3:10 reports the reason why God created anything and everything. In other words, Ephesians 3:10 reports God’s Purpose-For-Creation.

God’s inspired Words in Genesis 1:1ff report God creating a temporary and disposable environment (2Peter 3:10) containing two temporary and disposable humans named Adam and Eve who were “appointed once to die and after that the judgement.” Some of the temporary and disposable offspring of Adam and Eve would eventually be “born again of the Spirit” by being “called and elect to salvation.” Both saved and unsaved temporary and disposable humans would eventually assemble together into “churches” to demonstrate “the manifold wisdom of God to the principalities and powers in the heavenlies.” However, humans who are only “born of the flesh” were never “called and elect before the foundation of the world.” Nevertheless, they assemble with “born again believers” thus demonstrating conflict to “the principalities and powers” so they can observe God’s gracious provision of salvation to temporary and disposable humans who were “called and elect to salvation.”

The conflict between “called and uncalled” temporary and disposable humans demonstrates God’s “manifold wisdom” by providing “the Lamb who was slain before the foundation of the world” so that ”the principalities and powers in the heavenlies” can observe God’s limited and costly Holiness being simultaneously accepted and rejected by conflicted sectarians whom Creator God has assembled together into “churches.” Thus, the time-and-space environment God uses to demonstrate “The Church” is observed “in the heavenlies” to have already been destroyed (2Peter 3:10). The Universe was destroyed simply because it is no longer needed to demonstrate God’s “manifold wisdom in the heavenlies” where both God and “Seraphim” reside.

Admittedly, this is an extremely feeble wisdom deficient speculation about the inscrutable mind of an immutable and omnipotent God. However, my feeble speculation is logically consistent with Ephesians 3:10 where God declares His Purpose was the reason why God created anything and everything.

Nevertheless, wisdom deficient Bible scholars religiously conflict about God’s Purpose-For-Creation. For example, some wisdom deficient Bible scholars speculate that God created you and me “for His own Glory.” No one can question that God is Glorious nor question that God is the embodiment of Love. However, there is no text of Scripture written “To the intent that Creation was motivated by God’s Love.” Every speculation about God’s Purpose (including my own feeble speculation) is “leaning unto your own understanding” rather than “trusting the Lord with all your heart.” But God commands us in Proverbs 3:5 to “lean NOT unto your own understanding.”

Thus, my feeble speculation as well as your feeble speculation are both judged by God to be “lies” (Rom 3:4). I confess I have a propensity for “sinful lust” (Jas 1:15). You ought to make the same confession. However, typical church-attenders tend to foolishly characterize the religious leaders of their preferred sectarian belief system as being the epitome of truthfulness and righteousness and understanding.

My own speculation is that God inspired Ephesians 3:10 to finally inform us that God has created a sequential time-and-space case study using temporary and disposable humans who were created as the means God uses to demonstrate a rationality for requiring “the principalities and powers in the heavenlies” to intellectually worship God for His Holiness even though God’s Holiness cannot be challenged in “the heavenlies” where God and “the principalities and powers” both reside.

God did everything despite wisdom deficient religious leaders claiming to “understand” the “oracles of God.” God’s reaction as reported in Romans 3:4 is to evaluates God-fearing religious leaders as “liars.” It is a harsh but realistic evaluation of religious leaders who will eventually be commanded to “depart from me ye workers of iniquity because I never knew you.”

Despite the deceitful and incorrect assumptions made by wisdom deficient Bible school educated Biblical scholars, God concludes the initialization of Creation by declaring “And the evening and the morning were the first day.”

Day 2 – Genesis 1:6-8

The void container is filled

And God said, let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the

waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which

were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it

was so. And God called the firmament Heaven.

And the evening and the morning were the second day.

The English word “waters” in verse 6 is translated from the same Hebrew word “‫ ”מַ יִם‬used in verse 2 but from this point on the English word “waters” no longer emphasizes the raw sewage of “urine, semen, piss, wasting” simply because the “void” container of time-and-space is no longer “void.”

The English word “firmament” or “expanse” in 1:6 was translated from the

ָּ (H7549) “from <H7554> (raqa`); properly an expanse, i.e. the Hebrew word “‫”רקִ י ַע‬ firmament or (apparently) visible arch of the sky :- firmament.” Thus, the English word “firmament” describes the envelope of air that surrounds the Earth.

The English word “firmament” qualifies the word “Heaven” which was translated from the Hebrew word “‫( ”שָּ מַ יִם‬Strong’s H8064). The English word “firmament” qualifies “Heaven” to be much more specific than the summary definition used in Genesis 1:1.

Nevertheless, day 2 ends with God’s statement “And the evening and the morning were the second day.” Day 3 – Genesis 1:9-13

The earth, grass, and trees are created

And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place,

and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and

the gathering together of the waters called the Seas. And God saw that it was good.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit

tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree

yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

And the evening and the morning were the third day.

Genesis 1:9-13 reports “the earth” being prepared for sustaining every form of non-plant life. Life exists only on “the earth” despite the best efforts of wisdom deficient scientists who don’t hesitate to use our tax money to search for evidence of life in other parts of the Universe.

The English word “heaven” in verse 9 has already been qualified by the English word “firmament” in verse 6. Accordingly, the word “heaven” in verse 9 does not describe the space we know as the Universe. Thus, verses 9-13 describe God’s activity with respect to only “the earth” followed by God’s statement that “the evening and the morning were the third day.”

Day 4 – Genesis 1:14-19

The solar system is finally created

And God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day

from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.

And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth:

and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and

the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the

firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, and to rule over the day and

over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was

good.

And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

As of Genesis 1:14-19 the Kelvin temperature of God’s electromagnetic energy has already been cooled enough to create all the Mass that forms the solar system within which the Earth orbits about a Sun as well as rotates on an axis and a Moon which orbits about the Earth. Nothing else in God’s elaborate Universe has any significance for understanding God’s Purpose-For-Creation. Everything else exists only as an extremely elaborate fulfilment of God’s Purpose-For-Creation to educate “the principalities and powers in the heavenlies” about their intellectual requirement to worship God for His Glorious Holiness.

The multi-word English term “the firmament of the heaven” in Genesis 1:14 seems to include the entire solar system that provides both “light and darkness” as well as an “evening and morning” to be used for measuring time. God’s Purpose-For-Creation is concentrated on the Earth within a solar system rather than concentrated on the Universe. The Universe is merely an elaborate container for a Solar System that exists within the Milky Way Galaxy.

Genesis 1:14-19 seems to suggest seasons are anticipated as a function of the Solar System even though “seedtime and harvest” are not promised until the end of the flood in Genesis 8:22. It seems that the axis of “the earth” was not tipped from being vertical until after the flood. The tipping of “the earth” may suggest the means God used to cause the flood. Nevertheless, a rotating “earth” provides the means by which we measure time.

One rotation of the Earth always describes “One 24-hour Day” despite the speed of rotation of the Earth. Hours on the Earth are always measured as 1/24 of one rotation. Minutes are always 1/60 of an hour despite the Earth’s rotation speed. This is true even though modern timekeepers have instituted a so-called “Leap Year” just so modern earth dwellers don’t need to replace all our clocks to reflect the constantly changing duration of an hour.

Time was established by God based on The Creator’s foreknowledge of the relationship between one orbit of the Earth about the Sun and the speed of rotation of the Earth. Thus, every question about days being 24-hour periods is moot because days have never been anything other than a 24-hour period despite the speed of rotation of “the earth.”

Despite any wisdom deficient scholarly speculations about the time God took to create the Earth (i.e., six days, millions of years, etc.), God’s inspired report of the Creation event is the only source of information that was written by the divine Creator.

The Creation event cannot be repeated so the conflicted opinions of wisdom deficient Bible scholars about what happened are each based on foolish speculations. Wisdom deficient Bible scholars are the source for every instance of conflicted theology. Nevertheless, day 4 ends with the statement “And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.” Day 5 – Genesis 1:20-23

Lower forms of life are created

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath

life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God

created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters

brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and

God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, be fruitful, and multiply,

and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

These verses describe God’s creation of non-human life which will eventually provide nutrition for sustaining human life. However, during “the fifth day” these non-human life forms simply exist and multiply.

Day 5 ends with the statement “And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.”

Day 6 – Genesis 1:24-31

Human life is finally created

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and

creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God said, let

us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the

fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth,

and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So, God created man

in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he

them.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and

replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and

over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the

face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to

you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air,

and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given

every green herb for meat: and it was so.

And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good..

And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Wisdom deficient Bible scholars typically “understand” the clause “God created man in his own image” to mean each of us humans have some of the same attributes that describe God. But John 1:18 teaches “No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.” However, Revelation 13:8 teaches that an observable image of Jesus had already been established “from the foundation of the world.” Thus, I suggest the plural possessive “our image” in Genesis 1:26 literally refers to the human image of “Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” who was incarnated by the plural Godhead of God-the-Father and God-the-Spirit and Gpd-the-Son about 2000 years ago to become “the Son of Man” who was “born of the flesh” to a young virgin named Mary. Thus, Adam and Eve were intentionally “made” to have the same DNA as “the Son of Man”, who was named Jesus.

The initialization of God’s plan was ended with God’s declaration in Genesis 1:31 that “behold, it was very good” simply God had created everything that was required to accomplish God Purpose-For-Creation.

The English adjective “good” in Genesis 1:31 was translated from Hebrew “‫”טֹוב‬ (Strong’s H2896) defined simply as “from <H2895> “(towb); good (as an adjective) in the widest sense …” Indeed, everything about “God’s plan is good all the time; all the time God’s plan is good.” Nevertheless, a “good” God deliberately “predestined” Adam and Eve to “sin” so that they could be exiled from the Garden of Eden in fulfillment of the reason why God “made” Adam and Eve.

The English word “replenish” used in the KJV of 1:28 was translated from the Hebrew word “‫( ”מָּ לֵא‬Strong’s H4390) “or mala', maw-law'; (Esth. 7:5), a primitive root, to fill or (intransitive) be full of, in a wide application (literal and figurative) :- accomplish, confirm, + consecrate, be at an end, be expired, be fenced, fill, fulfil, (be, become, × draw, give in, go) full (-ly, -ly set, tale), [over-] flow, fulness, furnish, gather (selves, together), presume, replenish, satisfy, set, space, take a [hand-] full, + have wholly.” Accordingly, H4390 is better translated into English as “filled” rather than “replenish.” In fact, English translations other than the KJV use the word “fill” rather than “replenish.” Despite religious objections to the concept of “predestination,” day 6 ends with God’s statement “And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”

Day 7 – Genesis 2:1-3

Creation is complete, so God rested

Thus, the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the

seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh

day from all his work which he had made.

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested

from all his work which God created and made. Genesis 2:4-9a

God’s post-review of the six days of creation

These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created,

in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, and every plant of

the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the

LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till

the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of

the ground. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed

into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. And the LORD God

planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the

sight, and good for food …

These verses are a summary review of God combining various atomic elements into molecules to create an elaborate environment within a sequential time-and- space thus initiating God’s plan to display “churches” that are composed by “the manifold wisdom of God” to contain both “redeemed” and “unredeemed” attendees to “the principalities and powers in The Heavenlies” according to God’s Purpose-For- Creation.

There can be no question that everything including “the man who was formed by the LORD God ” “was very good” exactly as God had intended. God’s Word teaches that nothing happens that was not “predestined” to happen by “the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God” (Acts 2:23). In other words, nothing exists in Creation that is not “good” simply because everything is exactly as God intended.

“The LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground” and then completed the process by “breathing into man’s nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” This is the same “man” whom “the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken” (Gen 3:23).

Genesis 2:9b

God’s Purpose-For-Creation is finally initiated

God planted “the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of

knowledge of good and evil.”

Whether these two trees are real or metaphorical is of no consequence to you or me. Scripture does not further speak about these trees until Revelations 22:2. Nevertheless, the “the tree of life” being planted in the Garden of Eden seems to suggest God gave Eve every opportunity to choose to obey God’s command regarding “the tree of knowledge of good and evil.” However, if Eve had chosen to eat of “the tree of life” rather than “the tree of knowledge of good and evil” she would have presumably received “everlasting life” without any need for “the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world.” Thus, it seems Eve’s “sin” and “the slaying of the Lamb” were both intentionally “predestined from before the foundation of the world.”

It seems God’s Purpose-For-Creation “from the foundation of the world” was to incarnate “the Lamb that was slain” to shed His blood as the “redemption for sin” (i.e., the ransom price) demanded by Satan for the purchase of slaves of sin. It seems Adam and Eve were literally “predestined” to learn the distinction between “good and evil” by eating of “the tree of knowledge of good and evil” so that they required “redemption for sin.”

God “predestined” it to happen that way “from the foundation of the world” just so “the principalities and powers in the heavenlies” could observe “the manifold wisdom of God” demonstrating the reason why God should be worshipped for His Holiness.

Scripture doesn’t say so, but we hope the names of Adam and Eve were listed in “the Lamb’s book of life from the foundation of the world.” We “Trust in the LORD with all our heart” that their names were listed but only God knows the names listed in “the Lamb’s book of life from the foundation of the world.”

The remainder of Genesis, indeed, the remainder of all of Scripture continues to describe either what God did or else to describe what God expects you and me to do. Nevertheless, God’s Purpose-For-Creation has been initiated. And everything God did is evaluated as being “very good” simply because God did exactly what God intended to do. But our knowledge of what God did would be much more accurate if only God had revealed why He created anything.

The conclusion of WHAT God actually did

God scientifically created everything in six days. God literally created the “Laws-of-Motion” which wouldn’t be “discovered” until the 17th Century by Isaac Newton. God also created the “Theory of Relativity” which wouldn’t be “discovered” until the 20th Century by Albert Einstein.

Despite any divine revelation of God’s Purpose-For-Creation, rival Bible schools teach conflicted wisdom deficient opinions about the “mystery” of that which God really meant to do or say. And yet every wisdom deficient instance of Bible school taught sectarian conflict is included in God’s evaluation that “everything God created was very good.” Amazingly, every (no exceptions) conflicted sectarian leader is doing exactly that which God has “predestined” them to do. The reality is that God’s “calling” to be a conflicted sectarian “pastor teacher” is theologically disjoint from God’s “calling to salvation.” It is to be hoped that “many” sectarian “pastor teachers” will hear God say, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant … enter thou into the joy of thy LORD” (Matt 25:21) but conflict between sectarian belief systems makes that kind of hope to be very doubtful.

I say “Hopefully” only because salvation is entirely due to being “predestinated unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will” (Eph 1:5). You and I have no control over that “adoption” process.

Salvation is only offered to temporary and disposable humans “whose names were written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” (Rev 13:8). In other words, salvation is only for those who are “predestined to salvation.” Bugs, catfish, cows, and crows are never “predestined to salvation.”

It seems reasonable that “pastor teachers” who were “called by God to a pulpit pastorate” are also “called and elected to be saved” by being named in “the Lamb’s book of life” but the “determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God” is not something that can be altered by volitional-free-will decision making.

Temporary and disposable humans are precluded from writing their own name in “the Lamb’s book of life that was divinely written before the foundation of the world.”
